Check Why it matters
Pitch Must match the sprocket and determines carrier spacing around the conveyor.
Hollow-pin bore Defines the available space for rods, bolts, spacers or attachment hardware.
Inner width Affects sprocket, guide and machine-side clearance.
Roller or bush size Must suit the rail, guide, sprocket and support arrangement.

For new conveyors

Start with the machine layout and attachment concept. Define the required carrier spacing, conveyor center distance, product weight, chain speed, number of strands and how the cross rod or fixture will be retained. Then compare chain pitch, hollow bore and roller arrangement. If the system uses two parallel strands, include the cross-member span so the attachment can be reviewed together with the chain.

For replacement chains

Do not rely on pitch alone. Measure several pitches, the hollow bore, inner width, roller diameter and overall pin length. Add sprocket tooth count and photos of guide contact. These details help avoid ordering a chain that matches one dimension but conflicts with the existing sprocket, rail or attachment.
